Academic Background & Expertise

Tracie has built a robust academic foundation, starting with a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Regina. She then pursued a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University. Further enhancing her expertise, she completed a Masters in Professional Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan (2011-2012).

Tracie is a designated Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and completed the In-Depth Tax Program in 2018, demonstrating her commitment to specialized tax knowledge. Her professional focus is tech-centric, encompassing cryptocurrency, e-commerce, venture-backed firms, and pre-revenue startups.

Career Journey & Role in the Industry

With over ten years of experience in public accounting, Tracie specializes in corporate and personal tax planning, as well as a compilation of financial statements. She works closely with clients from the pre-revenue stages through to launch, providing comprehensive support including full-cycle accounting, tax planning, and guidance through reorganizations. Tracie is adept at fostering growth within her client base. Her experience with the latest applications and automation technologies streamlines the accounting process, ultimately saving clients time and money.

Personal Interests & Hobbies

When Tracie steps away from the tax world, she's driven by a natural curiosity to explore. You'll often find her hiking new trails, always wondering what's around the next bend. She also finds her center with yoga, exploring the mind-body connection.
